Common questions about curtains, fabrics and colors
For a uniform feeling we recommend to choose the same curtain throughout a room, but choose freely for different rooms within the same home. Gotains curtains are specially made to always match, regardless the combination - you can't go wrong here!
Of course you can! But there are a few tips and tricks that we at Gotain use when choosing curtains for a furnishing, but it's truly your choice.
To make it as easy as possible for you to choose a color, we have decided to work with colors and not nuances. We don't have different shades of beige, but only offer one color of each curtain, in each fabric. The colors are made to be combined freely, without a risk of not matching - you can't go wrong!
With beige walls you have a warm and neutral base with your decor, and we would recommend you to continue with these colours for your curtains with a warm undertone. For example off white, beige, red or yellow, which are colour options in our velvet curtains, thin linen curtains and woven linen curtains (with our without blackout).
With white walls you have a clean canvas which is not limited by warm or cold hues, and you can choose freely. With white walls you might want to add more textile for a warm and homely feeling, but the colour is not as decisive.
With green walls you have a distinct and colourful base in your home, and we would recommend for you to tie this together with curtains in netural tones for a balanced decor. Example of colours are white, off white or beige, which are options in all our curtains, from velvet curtains, thin linen curtains to woven linen curtains (with our without blackout).
With gray walls you have a discreet and cool base in your decor, and we would recommend for you to continue choosin colours wit a cool or neutral undertone. Example of colours are gray, white or blue, which are options in all our curtains, from velvet curtains, thin linen curtains to woven linen curtains (with our without blackout).
