Custom Made Velvet Curtain

All curtains are sewn by hand in Sweden. The quality is very important to us, that is why we sew side seams and bottom hem of the curtain with a generous amount of fabric for a beautiful fall. The bottom hem is sewn with a measure of 10x10cm, which makes it possible for you to make the curtain longer at a later time, for example if you move to a new home with a higher ceiling height.

• The curtain is sewn with two pockets for the option to put weights at the bottom (one at each side). The weights help to control the fall of the curtain and gives you that final look.
• A see through pleating tape is used for a discreet look with curtain hooks. The pleating tape could be used to hang the curtain on a rod, in this option we always recommend using rings with finger hooks. There is also a passage on the top of the curtain for you to pull through the rod, if you prefer this option.

Material
Our sheer linen curtain are made from high quality, 100% linen from France. The yarn on the spools is used to weave the fabric is thinner on some parts and thicker on others. This gives the linen fabric an organic character. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey.

To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and pull gently along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise press into the fabric over time. Use a steamer to minimize wrinkles. When steaming velvet curtains, it is important that you steam from the back of the curtain so as not to damage its fringe.
In the case of dirt/stains, we always recommend treating the stain immediately. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - let dry.

• For coarser dirt/stain, dry cleaning is recommended. Always make sure with your local dry cleaner that they have the right skills and tools to handle your particular stain.

We deliver all curtains within 3 weeks of placing an order. The curtains are sent with Postnord to your nearest service point.
