How long should a bedspread be?

It depends on the look you want to create in your bedroom. A bedspread can end just below the mattress, drape elegantly over the sides, or reach all the way to the floor for a more luxurious, hotel-inspired feel. As all of our bedspread are made to measure, you can choose both the width and the length. This allows you to create the perfect fit for your bed and achieve the exact amount of drape you prefer, whether you have a single, double or king size bed.

Can I match my bedspread with curtains?

Yes. Many of our bedspreads are available in the same fabrics and colours as our curtains, making it easy to create a harmonious and thoughtfully coordinated bedroom. You can also pair your bedspreads with decorative pillows in the same fabric for a cohesive look. Repeating the same material throughout the room is a simple way to create a calm, inviting and timeless interior.

Read our measurment guide here ! At Gotain, every bedspread is made to your exact measurements, so you are not limited to standard sizes. Whether you have a single, double or king size bed, your bedspread will be tailored to fit beautifully.

What are the benefits of a made to measure bedspread?

A made to measure bedspread offers a more refined and tailored look than a standard-size alternative. You decide the exact dimensions, allowing you to achieve the perfect fit and drape for your bed. Each bedspread is handcrafted in our Swedish atelier using your chosen measurements. Thanks to our extra wide fabrics, many of our bedthrows can also be made without seams, creating a clean and elegant finish across the entire bed.

What is the difference between a linen, bouclé or Sakura Collection bedthrow?

A woven linen bedthrow has a soft drape and a natural texture that creates a relaxed, timeless look. Linen is a durable natural material that becomes even more beautiful with time and suits a wide range of interior styles. Bouclé offers a soft and more textured surface with a rich, tactile feel, adding depth and character to the bedroom. It is an excellent choice if you want to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whichever fabric you choose, every bedspread is made to your exact measurements. Sakura Collection features a soft, fluid fabric with a subtle texture that gives the bedspread an elegant and harmonious look. The tactile surface adds depth and character, while the beautiful drape creates a calm and inviting feel inspired by Asian design.

Can I match my bedspread with cushions in the same fabric?

Absolutely. Our bedspread can be paired with decorative cushions in the same fabric and colour to create a cohesive and harmonious bedroom. Choose from a variety of decorative cushion sizes and shapes, or complete the look by matching your bedspread with curtains in the same fabric. Repeating the same textile throughout the room creates a calm, elegant and carefully considered interior.
