How to measure: Roman Blinds

Gotain's Roman blinds can be mounted on the wall or ceiling and are custom-made to fit both width and length.
Ceiling-mounted installation:
If your Roman blind is to be mounted on the ceiling, measure the length from the ceiling down to the windowsill, and the width from the outer edge to the outer edge of the window frame. We recommend adding at least 1–2 cm on each side to minimize the risk of gaps. For blackout blinds, adding extra width can help ensure optimal light blocking.
Wall-mounted installation:
If your Roman blind is to be mounted on the wall, measure the length from 7 cm above the window frame down to the windowsill (this measurement is required for the cord lock to function properly) or from 15 cm above the window frame if you want to create the impression of higher ceilings. Measure the width from the outer edge to the outer edge of the window frame. We also recommend adding at least 1–2 cm on each side, and extra width for blackout blinds to improve coverage.
