How to measure: Curtain Width

Our curtains in single width are 140 cm (55 in) wide. With curtain hooks that create the waves, the curtain will then be at its most 90 cm (35 in) wide when stretched, and at least 35 cm (14 in) when gathered. We recommend letting it cover a width of about 60-70 cm (24-28 in) to get the nicest curtain waves.

Our curtains in double width are 280 cm (110 in) wide. With curtain hooks that create the waves, the curtain is then at its most stretched out to about 180 cm (71 in) wide, and about 70 cm (28 in) when gathered. We recommend letting it cover a width of about 140-160 cm (55-63 in) to get the nicest curtain waves.

Yes, absolutely!

It's very common amongst our customers that the walls on the sides of a window are not completely symmetrical. Often there is a narrower wall section on one side of a window, and more space on the other. Then the most natural curtain solution is to have a double width where there is more space, and a single width where there is less!

Single width (140 cm / 55 in) =
Maximum: 90 cm / 35 in
Minimum: 35 cm / 14 in

Double width (280 cm / 110 in) =
Maximum: 180 cm / 71 in
Minimum: 70 cm / 28 in

If you are indecisive whether you should choose a singel width or a double width (and have enough space for a double width) - more textile is always preferable!
