• The valance comes with a complete kit, including a track with velcro and ceiling brackets for easy ceiling mounting. If you plan to mount your valance on the wall, you will need to purchase additional wall brackets.
• Want to hang a curtain behind your valance? Order a regular curtain track to be mounted behind the valance.
• Since all valances are handmade, the final width/length of the curtain may vary by +/- 1 cm (0.4 in) from the ordered measurement.

Measure the full width of the wall where the valance will be installed, this will be the total width of the valance.

The recommended height for a curtain valance is approximately 35 cm (13.8 in), which creates a balanced and stylish impression in most windows. If you need more coverage or want a more decorative feel, you can choose a taller model – we offer curtain valances up to 60 cm (23.6 in) in height.

Material
Our woven linen is made from high quality materials, 67% linen and 33% viscose for a heavy fall. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey. Our linen curtains may sometimes vary slightly in shade and texture between rolls due to the natural characteristics of linen.

Care
To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and pull gently along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise press into the fabric over time. Use a steamer to minimize wrinkles.

In the case of dirt/stains, we always recommend treating the stain immediately. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - let dry.

The loosely woven fabric is light-filtering, allowing daylight to pass through while providing a subtle frame for your window. This valance is designed to conceal curtain tracks and create a clean, architectural line above your curtains. The straight finish leaves the sides open, making it suitable for wall-to-wall installations or as a refined accent above wide windows and doorways. The wide range of colour options allows for easy coordination with curtain panels or Roman blinds in the same or contrasting shades. It can also be used to create a canopy effect above a bed for a layered textile look.

Each valance is tailor-made for your home in our Swedish atelier, ensuring precise dimensions and careful finishing. The valance attaches to the included track with a velcro strip for a minimal, seamless appearance. All curtain tracks, rods and accessories are shipped within 1-3 working days. Custom length curtain tracks are tailor-made to your exact specifications, which means that we do not accept returns. We offer a flat shipping fee of £19 for all curtain panels, interior details and accessories.

For larger parcels such as roman blinds, tracks, and rods, the shipping fee is £59.
