Free curtain planning
The philosphy of Gotain is to make it easy, to us this means a generous amount of fabric, billowy waves and a slight fall on the floor. To get a luxorious hotel-feeling at home, we have a few tips and tricks on the way!
DOUBLE CURTAINS
A classic hotel curtain setup consists of two layers of fabric that together create a luxurious feel. Closest to the window hangs a sheer curtain that lets in light while providing privacy, while the outer curtain is made of heavier fabric with a blackout lining. Together, they offer both function and an elegant framing of the room. Achieve this curtain look with made-to-measure double curtain tracks.
CHOOSE A FABRIC WITH A HEAVY DRAPE
The curtain closest to the room sets the tone for the interior, so choose a heavier fabric that adds character. A thicker curtain, preferably with blackout lining, creates an elegant drape and deep, beautiful folds for a luxurious feel! Explore all our blackout curtains here.
THINK HIGH AND WIDE
One of the most effective interior design tricks used in hotels is hanging curtains high and wide – from ceiling to floor and across the entire wall. This creates a luxurious, framed look while providing the best possible blackout effect. You can easily recreate this at home with ceiling- or wall-mounted curtain tracks that span the entire width of the room. For more tips on how to achieve perfect blackout, read our blackout guide.
