Curtain Valance Woven Linen Straight Finish

All curtains are handmade in Sweden. The valance has a velcro strip at the top, which attaches directly to the curtain track for a minimal and discreet look.

• The valance comes with a complete kit, ready for easy installation. The kit includes a track with velcro tape and ceiling brackets for ceiling mounting.
• Want to hang a curtain behind your valance? Order a regular curtain track to be mounted behind the valance.
• Valance with straight finish: Is delivered in one piece up to 200cm long. For longer valances than 200cm, the track will be cut in two, a jointer is included to fix the two parts together. Valances up to 280 cm in width are made in one single piece of fabric. For widths exceeding 280 cm, the valance is made with a 280 cm center panel, with the remaining width divided and added to each side.
• Valance with curved finish: Is delivered in one piece up to 200cm long. For longer valances than 200cm, the track will be cut in two, a jointer is included to fix the two parts together. The curved ends are bent angles attached to the straight track using separate joining parts, one on the right side and one on the left side. The depth of the bent anges is 15cm. Valances up to 280 cm in width are made in one single piece of fabric. For widths exceeding 280 cm, the valance is made with a 280 cm center panel, with the remaining width divided and added to each side.
• Since all valances are handmade, the final width/length of the curtain may vary by +/- 1 cm from the ordered measurement.
• Maximum width 400 cm - Maximum lenght 60 cm

For wall mounting, you will need to add wall brackets separately. Please also keep in mind that the choice of straight or curved ends for the curtain valance, the number of rails behind it, the weight of your curtains, and the overall look you want to achieve all affect which wall brackets you should choose.

The recommended height for a curtain valance is approximately 35 cm, which creates a balanced and stylish impression in most windows. If you need more coverage or want a more decorative feel, you can choose a taller model – we offer curtain valances up to 60 cm in height.

Material
Our woven linen is made from high quality materials, 67% linen and 33% viscose for a heavy fall. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey. Our linen curtains may sometimes vary slightly in shade and texture between rolls due to the natural characteristics of linen.

Care
To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and pull gently along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise press into the fabric over time. Use a steamer to minimize wrinkles.

In the case of dirt/stains, we always recommend treating the stain immediately. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - let dry.

Each valance is tailor-made for your home in our Swedish atelier, ensuring precise dimensions and careful finishing. The valance attaches to the included track with a velcro strip for a minimal, seamless appearance. The kit comes complete with a ceiling-mounted track and brackets, and for wall mounting, additional brackets are available separately. The construction is designed for stability and straightforward installation, even at larger widths.

The linen blend fabric is selected for durability and its ability to soften over time. Regular vacuuming with a soft nozzle and occasional steaming will help maintain its appearance. For stains, spot cleaning with warm water is recommended, with dry cleaning as an option for more persistent marks. All curtain tracks, rods and accessories are shipped within 1-3 working days. Custom length curtain tracks are tailor-made to your exact specifications, which means that we do not accept returns.
