All curtains are sewn by hand in Sweden. Quality is extremely important to us, which is why we sew the side hems and bottom hem with generous allowances to ensure a heavy, elegant drape.
The bottom hem is sewn at a full 3.9 × 3.9 in (10 × 10 cm), making it possible for you to lengthen the curtains at a later stage, for example if you move to a home with higher ceilings.
- The curtain is equipped with a weighted drapey tape along the bottom hem.
- It also features two pockets at the bottom for curtain weights (one on each side). The weights help control the drape of the curtain and add a refined finishing touch to the hanging.
- Transparent pleating tape is used for a discreet hanging method with curtain hooks on a track system. The pleating tape can also be used to hang the curtain on a rod, in which case high curtain hooks and rings are used.
- A single-width curtain (55.1 in / 140 cm) will measure up to 35.4 in (90 cm) at its widest and 13.8 in (35 cm) at its narrowest. A double-width curtain (110 in / 280 cm) will measure up to 70.9 in (180 cm) at its widest and 27.6 in (70 cm) at its narrowest.
- A curtain pleated on a curtain rod in single width (55 in / 140 cm) will measure up to 27.6 in (70 cm) at its widest and 7.9 in (20 cm) at its narrowest. A double-width curtain (110 in / 280 cm) will measure up to 55 in (140 cm) at its widest and 15.7 in (40 cm) at its narrowest.
- Take care of your shower curtain by always allowing it to hang freely. A shower curtain that touches the floor or, for example, a bathtub is more exposed to moisture and therefore mold formation. Therefore, deduct at least 0.8 in (2 cm) when choosing the length of your shower curtain.
We weave our own fabrics in Europe, and the width of the fabric rolls may vary slightly between deliveries. The 55 in (140 cm) and 110 in (280 cm) measurements are guidelines for our curtain widths, but they may occasionally be slightly wider or narrower.

Care
Use a steamer to minimize creases that may develop over time.
In the case of dirt/stains, we always recommend treating the stain immediately. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - let dry.

The transparent pleating tape at the top works with both hooks and rods, while also allowing the rod to be threaded directly through for easy installation.
To maintain the fabric’s quality, allow the curtain to dry completely after each use and avoid contact with the floor or tub. Machine wash at 86°F (30°C) as needed, and use light steaming to preserve its appearance.
