How to order
Order free curtain samples directly to your door with a few simple clicks, the samples are perfect tools for seeing nuances and feeling the material.
All samples are sent out the same day. Should you have any questions, we are more than happy to help, contact us via email, telephone or chat.
No, at the moment we don’t offer larger samples outside of the EU.
For the perfect trail - measure from floor to ceiling and add 1cm.
A curtain in single width in a curtain track drapes at least 35cm, and at the most 90cm. A curtain in double width drapes at least 70cm, and at the most 180cm.
The curtains are sold individually and without accessories. We have everything you need for a complete curtain solution, you can find our assortment of curtain hooks and rails here.

Think high and wide - the more fabric draping your window, the better the black out effect.
Use curtains in two layers - one sheer and one heavier. Choose a ceiling mounted curtain track for a spaceous feeling, and place the tracks with a 7-10cm distance inbetween.

Measure & Install
For the perfect trail - measure from floor to ceiling and add 1cm.
A curtain in single width in a curtain track drapes at least 35cm, and at the most 90cm. A curtain in double width drapes at least 70cm, and at the most 180cm.
Maximize the impact of your window by installing your roman blind 15cm above the window and covering the full width, including the window trim.
Choose low curtain hooks if you plan to hang your curtains on a track, and high hooks for a rod.

Delivery
We will dispatch your curtains within three weeks of placing your order. Curtain tracks and other accessories are dispatched within two working days. Once your order is dispatched you will receive a tracking number via email and can always track your order quickly and easily via this.

For our US customers, all orders are shipped via DHL Express.

For our international customers, it is especially important that you keep track of your tracking number that we send to you when the order is packed and dispatched. If you are unable to accept the package at the times the courier delivers and, worst case, the package is returned to us in Sweden, we will need to charge you for sending it again.
If your parcel has been returned to Gotain, we will again charge you the same amount that you paid for shipping to cover the cost of sending it again.

All prices on the Gotain website are including VAT and customs, and no further charges will be added. All parcels are shipped by DHL express.
US

Worldwide
All prices on the Gotain website include VAT within the EU. Outside of the EU, VAT and customs fees may apply. All parcels are shipped via DHL Express. For any inquiries regarding shipping to your specific country, please contact us, and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Returns & Refunds
No - all curtains are sewn made to measure your exact measurements, which means we can not take any products in return.
You have a 14-day right to return all accessories, excluding made-to-measure curtain tracks and rods. The packaging has to be intact and unbroken. To get a return note, email order@gotain.com. The refund will be returned to the same account that the payment was made from, excluding the price for the booked return shipment.

All Gotain curtains undergo a thorough quality control in multiple steps before being packed and shipped. If your order was defect or faulty upon receiving it, we kindly ask you to start a reclamation case as soon as the defect has been observed. Describe the defect as detailed as possible and enclose pictures of the damage, this in order for us to be able to assess your case as correctly as possible.
If your reclaim case been approved, we will send your a return note which has to be used within 30 days - thereafter the reclaim case will expire.
If your reclamation case of a curtain/s has not been approved, you will be charged a fee of 299kr/curtain (within Sweden) for us to send it anew to you.
Normal usage and products purchased over 2 years prior do not qualify for reclamation.
Please note that all reclamation cases are to be handled over email. This because of our need for tracability in the dialogue, and therefore we abstain all reclaims over phone or chat.

If you have measured by yourself and the length deviates more than 1% we will more than happily control and measure these for you. The curtains will then be sent to our studio in Sweden where we will assure the measurement of the curtains based on the order material.
The weave of the textile affects the weight of the fabric, length and how the hang, a deviation of less than 1% of the total length is not regarded as a reclamation case. If the deviation is less than 1% of the total length of the curtain, we will charge a service fee of 39USD/curtain to ship it back to you.
If the curtain has a deviation over 1% of the ordered length of the curtain, we will of course correct this for you free of charge and send it back to you as soon as possible!
