To achieve a beautiful and voluminous look with generous curtain waves, the width is key. The curtain should look elegant both when closed and open. Choose between single width (55 in / 140 cm) or double width (110 in / 280 cm); the curtain hooks create flowing waves by gathering the fabric.
Double Width (top): A double-width curtain measures up to 71 in (180 cm) wide extended, and as little as 28 in (70 cm) gathered. We recommend covering a width of approximately 55-63 in (140-160 cm) for the best curtain waves.
Single Width (bottom): A single-width curtain measures up to 35 in (90 cm) wide extended, and as little as 14 in (35 cm) gathered. We recommend covering a width of approximately 24-28 in (60-70 cm) for the best curtain waves.
The above measurements apply to the most common hanging method, using a curtain track with two-finger hooks.
