Question 3

Can I combine café curtains with other curtains?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Combining café curtains with other curtain styles is a beautiful way to create a more layered and inviting atmosphere in a room. Many choose to pair café curtains with Roman blinds or full-length curtains to achieve both flexibility and a softly framed look.

A popular option is to place a Roman blind in the upper part of the window and a café curtain below. This allows you to easily balance privacy and natural light while creating a cohesive overall expression. For a calm and harmonious feel, we recommend combining curtains in similar fabrics or tones.

Question 4

How much privacy do café curtains provide?

Accepted Answer

Café curtains are designed to provide a comfortable level of privacy while still allowing natural light to fill the room. Since the curtain typically covers the lower part of the window, it creates a sense of privacy without making the space feel dark or enclosed.

The level of privacy also depends on the fabric you choose. Our lighter linen fabrics allow more light through and create a soft, airy expression, while textured linen and bouclé fabrics offer a slightly more sheltered and cosy feel. This makes café curtains a popular choice for spaces where you want to maintain natural daylight while reducing visibility from the street or neighbouring homes.

Question 5

Which fabric is best for café curtains?

Accepted Answer

The choice of fabric influences both the look and function of your café curtains. Sheer linen creates a soft and airy feel, allowing natural daylight to filter beautifully through the room. Woven Linen offers an elegant drape and a natural texture, creating a timeless and refined look. For a more textured and cosy feel, Bouclé adds warmth and character. Sakura Collection is characterized by a soft, fluid fabric with a subtle texture that gives the curtain an elegant drape. The tactile surface adds depth and character while creating a soft and harmonious look inspired by Asian design.

If you are looking for more privacy, denser fabrics provide a more secluded and enveloping atmosphere while still allowing the room to feel bright and harmonious.

Question 6

Are café curtains suitable for kitchens and bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes, café curtains are especially popular in kitchens and bathrooms because they provide privacy without blocking natural daylight. Their shorter length creates a relaxed and airy feeling that works beautifully in smaller spaces or rooms where you want to maintain an open and welcoming atmosphere.

Question 7

What types of café curtains are available?

Accepted Answer

Our café curtains are available in several different styles to suit a variety of interiors and expressions. Our minimalist café curtains feature a clean and simple drape that creates a modern and understated look by the window. Café curtains with rings offer a softer and more decorative expression, allowing the fabric to fall in a relaxed and elegant way while becoming a natural interior detail.

For a more classic and timeless look, we also offer Classic café curtains. The soft pleats create fullness and a more traditional expression that works beautifully in both rustic and refined interiors. No matter which style you choose, all of our café curtains are made to measure to create a thoughtful and harmonious feel in your home.

We also offer café curtains for doors, designed with a rod at both the top and bottom to keep the curtain securely in place as the door opens and closes. This solution provides privacy while still allowing plenty of natural light into the room. Café curtains for doors are ideal for patio doors, balcony doors and glazed doors where you want to combine functionality with a soft and inviting look.
