The blackout curtain panel in Sakura Collection is inspired by Asian design traditions. Crafted from the same textile base, Sakura features a jacquard-woven pattern and Raw Cotton a solid colour with natural texture. The blackout curtain has an elegant drape, with a blackout lining that blocks light and creates deep, full folds from ceiling to floor. Each curtain is made to measure in Gotain’s Swedish atelier and features a pleating tape suitable for both curtain tracks and poles.

Material
Sakura Collection is a high-quality jacquard-woven fabric, made from a soft blend of viscose, polyester and recycled cotton. The combination of materials gives the fabric a beautiful lustre, a rich texture and an elegant, fluid drape. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified.
Care
To preserve the colour and quality of your curtains, we recommend vacuuming them regularly. Use a soft brush attachment and gently run it along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise settle into the fibres. Use a steamer to minimise creases that may develop over time.
For dirt or stains, we recommend spot cleaning. Use warm water and a clean white cloth, gently dabbing the affected area. Finish by steaming the fabric and allow it to dry.
All curtains are sewn by hand in Sweden. Quality is important to us; that is why we include side seams and a bottom hem in the curtains for a heavier look.
The bottom hem is sewn with a measurement of 10x10 cm (3.9 x 3.9 in), which makes it possible for you to make the curtain longer at a later time. For example, if you move to a new home with a higher ceiling height.
- The Sakura curtain is sewn with two pockets where you can place curtain weights at the bottom (one on each side). The weights help control the curtain's drape for a perfect look.
- The curtain features see-through pleating tape for a soft look with curtain hooks. The pleating tape can be used to hang the curtain on a track or pole.
- Sakura blackout curtains: The blackout effect is achieved by sewing the curtains in two layers. The Sakura fabric is paired with a blackout lining, sewn together along the curtains' folded hems.

1. HOW TO MEASURE LENGTH
Ceiling-mounted curtain track - Measure from the ceiling to the floor and add +2 cm (0.8 in).
Curtain track on wall - Measure from the top of the curtain track down to the floor add add +2 cm (0.8 in).
Curtain rod on wall - Measure from the underside of the ring hanging on the rod and add +2 cm (0.8 in).
2. HOW TO MEASURE WIDTH
Double width curtain - Extended: 200cm (79 in) wide, gathered: 70cm (28 in) wide.
Single width curtain - Extended: 90cm (35 in) wide, gathered: 35cm (14 in) wide.
The above recommendation is to achieve Gotain's signature look, which means generous flowing waves of fabric, and a small trail against the floor. The measurements apply to the most common hanging style, on a curtain track with two-finger hooks. Read more in Gotain's measuring guide.

We offer a flat shipping fee of £19 for all curtain panels, interior details and accessories.
For larger parcels such as roman blinds, tracks, and rods, the shipping fee is £59.

FAQ
Sakura and Raw Cotton offer two distinct expressions within the collection. Sakura features a soft, organic pattern inspired by cherry blossoms, while Raw Cotton has a more understated expression with a solid, textured fabric, subtle lustre and natural elegance.
The curtain is fitted with a universal heading that can be used with both curtain tracks and poles. This allows for straightforward installation and an even fall.
Please note that curtain hooks need to be purchased separately. For curtain rods, high curtain hooks are required and for curtain tracks, low hooks are required.
