To make it as easy as possible for you, Gotain's curtains are equipped with a practical folding band. Predefined distances for the placement of the curtain hooks will help you get evenly distributed curtain folds.
To hang on a curtain rail
For a curtain to be hung in the curtain rail, use low curtain hooks. 4 packages of curtain hooks are needed for a double-width curtain, 2 packages of curtain hooks are needed for a single-width curtain. Gotain's curtain rail is 2,5 cm high, a standard size. The low curtain hook makes it possible to hide the rail behind the curtain. If your curtain rail is lower than 2,5 cm, we recommend that you choose a high curtain hook instead.
To hang on a curtain rod
For a curtain to be hung on a curtain rod, use high curtain hooks. 2 packages of curtain hooks are needed for a double-width curtain, 1 package of curtain hooks is needed for a single-width curtain.
For both rail and rod
At the far end of the curtain sides, we usually only thread in one of the "arms" of the curtain hook. By starting and ending in this way, you do not get a crease right at the edges, such a crease can result in the curtain appearing to be shorter or uneven at the bottom against the floor.
Leftover hooks? Do not worry, depending on how the folding ribbon is sewn, the number of curtain hooks needed for each curtain varies. Save these for next time!
