Quality is important to us, which is why we sew our roman blind curtains with battens (metal sticks) distributed along the length of the curtain for maximum stability. This helps the curtain to get even folds when it is pulled up or down.

The roman blind is delivered with a complete kit of rail and brackets for easy installation.

Roman Blinds wider than 200cm are delivered and mounted using a cassette, rather than a rail, for added stability. 

As all roman blind curtains are sewn by hand, the final width/length of the curtain can differ by 1 cm +/- from the ordered dimensions.

When the roman blind is fully raised, it takes up approximately 25–30 cm. If you want it to cover a smaller portion of your window, we recommend mounting it above the window frame.

Sewing & Details


Our woven linen is crafted from the highest quality materials, consisting of 67% linen and 33% viscose for added sheen. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX standards. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey. Due to the characteristics of linen, our linen curtains may sometimes vary slightly in shade and texture between rolls.




To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and gently run it along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise penetrate the textile. Additionally, use a steamer to minimize creases that may develop over time.

In the event of dirt or staining, we always recommend spot treatment.

Clean with hot water on a white cloth—gently dab the fabric and finish with steaming—then allow to dry.

For more substantial staining or dirt, we advise consulting a dry cleaner. Always ensure that your local dry cleaner has the appropriate expertise and tools to manage your stain. 

Gotain does not take responsibility for incorrect handling by a dry cleaner.

We offer a flat shipping fee of 69USD for for all curtain panels, interior details and accessories.

For larger parcels such as roman shades, tracks, and rods, the shipping fee is 129USD.

International shipping costs reflect the safe handling and delivery of our products from Sweden, especially for larger parcels such as curtain tracks, rods, and roman blinds.

Delivery & Returns

Maximize the impact of your window by installing your roman blind 15 cm above the window and covering the full width, including the window trim.

When the roman blind is fully raised, the length is approx. 30 cm.


Measure from the top of the window frame down to the windowsill and add +15 cm.

*Note, If you do not want to mount your Roman blind 15 cm above the window, you will need at least 7cm of free space above the window frame to accommodate the blind mechanism.
