All curtains are handmade in Sweden. The valance has a velcro strip at the top, which attaches directly to the curtain track for a minimal and discreet look.

• The valance comes with a complete kit, including a track with velcro and ceiling brackets for easy ceiling mounting. If you plan to mount your valance on the wall, you will need to purchase additional wall brackets.
• Valance with straight finish: The curtain track is delivered in one single piece for lengths up to 200 cm. For lengths exceeding 200 cm, a joint piece is included to extend the track to the ordered length. Valances up to 280 cm in width are made in one single piece. For widths exceeding 280 cm, the valance is made with a 280 cm center panel, with the remaining width divided and added to each side.
• Want to hang a curtain behind your valance? Order a regular curtain track to be mounted behind the valance.
• Since all valances are handmade, the final width/length of the curtain may vary by +/- 1 cm from the ordered measurement.

Our woven linen is made from the highest quality, 67% linen and 33% viscose for a heavy drape. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey.

Care
To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and pull gently along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise press into the fabric over time. Use a steamer to minimize wrinkles.

• In the case of dirt/stains, we always recommend treating the stain immediately. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - let dry.

Measure the full width of the wall where the valance will be installed, this will be the total width of the valance.

The recommended height for a curtain valance is approximately 13.8 inches (35 cm), which creates a balanced and stylish impression in most windows. If you need more coverage or want a more decorative feel, you can choose a taller model – we offer curtain valances up to 23.6 inches (60 cm) in height.

Ceiling brackets are provided for straightforward installation, while additional wall brackets are available separately if needed. For wider windows over 79 inches (200 cm), the valance is constructed with a central panel and side sections to maintain a continuous, seamless appearance across the full span.

The woven linen blend is selected for durability and everyday use, softening gradually over time while maintaining its structure. To care for the valance, vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment to preserve color and texture, and use light steaming to maintain its drape. Spot clean with warm water for minor stains as needed.
