The width you specify should correspond to the length the rod needs to be. Measure from the inner edges of the window frame. Based on this measurement, we will calculate how much fabric is needed to create a neat and generous pleating.

Please note that the curtain hangs 0.8 in (2 cm) below the top edge of the rod, so this should be subtracted from the desired curtain length.

Please also note that two niche brackets together add up to 0.24 in (0.6 cm), which needs to be subtracted from the specified width. The niche bracket itself has a diameter of 0.87 in (2.2 cm).

Number of hooks needed: To achieve beautiful pleats, we recommend the following number of hooks depending on the rod length:

Rod 0-18 in (0–45 cm): 10 hooks (1 pack) Rod 18-35 in (45–90 cm): 20 hooks Rod 35-53 in (90–135 cm): 30 hooks Rod 53-71 in (135–180 cm): 40 hooks

• The curtain comes with a rod (0.47 in / 12 mm in diameter), two niche brackets and rings. The café curtain rod features an elegant antique bronze finish.
• The width that is ordered is split in two, and you will receive two curtains with this style.
• The width of the curtain corresponds to the width of the window (measured inside the window frame) multiplied by 1.7. This creates the curtain’s beautiful pleats.
• The curtain has a pleating tape at the top, to be used with curtain hooks, as well as a weighted tape in the hem. Note that you will need high curtain hooks for this curtain style.

Material
Our bouclé curtains are crafted from 100% recycled PES, providing a billowing and soft drape. It is manufactured using a special technique where the yarn is shaped into loops or knots, giving the fabric its characteristic "bubbly" and textured surface. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey. The bouclé fabric itself is woven in Spain.

Care
To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and gently pull along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise become embedded over time. Additionally, use a steamer to minimize wrinkles.

• In the event of dirt or stains, we always advise treating them promptly. Clean with warm water on a white cloth—gently dab against the fabric and finish by steaming—then allow to dry.
• For more stubborn dirt or stains, dry cleaning is recommended. Always ensure that your local dry cleaner possesses the necessary skills and tools to handle your specific stain. Gotain does not take responsibility for incorrect handling by a dry cleaner.
