Curtain Valance Sakura Collection Curved Finish

All curtains are handmade in Sweden. The valance has a velcro strip at the top, which attaches directly to the curtain track for a minimal and discreet look. The curved valance comes with two angles that provide a finished look and is suitable in front of a window.

• The valance comes with a complete kit, including a track with velcro and ceiling brackets for easy ceiling mounting. If you plan to mount your valance on the wall, you will need to purchase additional wall brackets.
• The curtain track is delivered in one single piece for lengths up to 200 cm. For lengths exceeding 200 cm, a joint piece is included to extend the track to the ordered length. Valances up to 280 cm in width are made in one single piece. For widths exceeding 280 cm, the valance is made with a 280 cm center panel, with the remaining width divided and added to each side.
• Want to hang a curtain behind your valance? Order a regular curtain track to be mounted behind the valance.
• Since all valances are handmade, the final width/length of the curtain may vary by +/- 1 cm from the ordered measurement.
• The curtain track and curtain valance are delivered separately, giving you time to prepare and install the track before the curtain valance arrives.
• Maximum width 400 cm - Maximum lenght 60 cm

For wall mounting, you will need to add wall brackets separately. Please also keep in mind that the choice of straight or curved ends for the curtain valance, the number of rails behind it, the weight of your curtains, and the overall look you want to achieve all affect which wall brackets you should choose.

Curtain Valance Width:

The valance is 15 cm deep and is mounted on the ceiling (if you want to mount it on the wall, you need to contact us to order wall brackets).

The valance is installed in front of a standard curtain track with curtain lengths. To measure how wide the valance should be, take the outer width of your window frame and add +25 cm.

To measure how wide the curtain track should be, take the width of the valance and subtract -34 cm. The final look will be a valance that covers your window plus +15 cm on each side.

The valance with a curved end should always be ordered based on the total width, not the visible width. Please note that 25 cm of the total width is used to create the curved finish and is therefore not part of the visible front-facing width.

Example: If you want a visible width of 200 cm, order the pelmet in a total width of 225 cm.

Curtain Valance Height:

The recommended height for a curtain valance is approximately 35 cm, which creates a balanced and stylish impression in most windows. If you need more coverage or want a more decorative feel, you can choose a taller model – we offer curtain valances up to 60 cm in height.

Material

Sakura Collection is a high-quality jacquard-woven fabric, made from a soft blend of viscose, polyester and recycled cotton. The combination of materials gives the fabric a beautiful lustre, a rich texture and an elegant, fluid drape. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified.

Care

To preserve the colour and quality of your curtains, we recommend vacuuming them regularly. Use a soft brush attachment and gently run it along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise settle into the fibres. Use a steamer to minimise creases that may develop over time.

For dirt or stains, we recommend spot cleaning. Use warm water and a clean white cloth, gently dabbing the affected area. Finish by steaming the fabric and allow it to dry.

All curtain tracks, rods and accessories are shipped within 1-3 working days. Custom length curtain tracks are tailor-made to your exact specifications, which means that we do not accept returns. The same applies to e.g. made-to-order bed throws and pillows with custom-selected piping. Other interior details can be returned within 14 days of purchase.
