How to measure

How to measure: Shower Curtain

Measure the width:

Measure the width you want the shower curtain to cover.

Single width (approx. 140 cm fabric width) is suitable for a finished width of approximately 35–90 cm, depending on how much fullness you prefer.

Double width (approx. 280 cm fabric width) is suitable for a finished width of approximately 70–180 cm.

If you choose double width, two fabric widths are sewn together, creating a discreet vertical seam in the centre of the curtain.

Measure the length:

Measure according to how you plan to hang your shower curtain:

  1. Curtain rod: Measure from the bottom edge of the rod down to the floor or the edge of the bathtub.
  2. Curtain track: Measure from the top edge of the track down to the floor or the edge of the bathtub.

To reduce the risk of moisture and mould, we recommend choosing a length where the shower curtain ends at least 2 cm above the floor or bathtub edge. Therefore, subtract at least 2 cm from your measurement when placing your order.

Hanging:

The shower curtain is sewn with a transparent gathering tape for a discreet hanging solution.

Please note that curtain hooks are sold separately.

Curtain tracks and curtain rods:

We offer both curtain tracks and curtain rods that are suitable for our shower curtains.

Our tracks and rods have not been specifically tested for use in humid environments such as bathrooms, but many of our customers use them for shower curtains without any issues. For the best durability, we recommend ensuring good ventilation in the bathroom and avoiding direct and constant exposure to water.
