How to measure: Blackout Roller Blind
How should I think when choosing the size of my blackout rollerblind?
The rollerblind mounts can be placed both in ceilings and on walls, and take up 2cm on each side which are not blacked out. This means that we recommend mounting your rollerblind outside or on the window frame for the best possible blackout effect, so that the blind falls outside the frame and minimizes the risk for gaps.
The rollerblind can of course be placed in a niche, but note that the blind will have a gap of 2 cm on each side of the blind.
It's important to keep in mind to not pull down the blind further than the ordered length, as there is a risk that the weave will loosen. Choose a longer blind rather than a too short.
The depth of the roller blind bracket depends on the size. For roller blinds up to 180 cm in width or length, the bracket depth is 6 cm. For roller blinds wider or longer than 180 cm, the bracket depth is 6.5 cm.
Note that if you wish to hide your blackout roller blind behind a roman blind and are to mount it on a wall, you need to add extra long wall mounts. You can find them here! (Please note that Roman blinds over 200 cm are supplied with a cassette, which cannot be combined with extra long wall mounts)
Maximum width: 240 cm - Maximum lenght: 280 cm
