The bedspread is handmade to your exact measurements and finished with a uniform 3cm (1.2 in) hem around all sides. Thanks to Gotain’s extra-wide fabric rolls, it is crafted without seams, resulting in a smooth and uninterrupted surface.

The bedspread is crafted from Gotain’s woven linen fabric of the highest quality, made from 67% linen and 33% viscose for a fluid drape. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey.
Care
Use a steamer to minimise creases that may form over time. Steaming your bedspread will refresh the linen fabric and help extend its lifespan.
In the event of dirt or staining, we always recommend spot treatment. Clean with hot water on a white cloth—gently dab the fabric and finish with steaming—then allow to dry.
For more substantial staining or dirt, we advise consulting a dry cleaner. Always ensure that your local dry cleaner has the appropriate expertise and tools to manage your stain. Gotain does not take responsibility for incorrect handling by a dry cleaner.
For an elegant and inviting look, we recommend that the bedspread touches the floor on all sides of the bed that are not against a wall.
To achieve the right drape, you need to measure the width, length and height of your bed.
1. Measure the width of your bed
Measure the width of your bed from side to side. Then calculate:
Bed width + (2 × bed height) + 10 cm
The additional measurement allows the bedspread to reach down to the floor on both sides while also allowing room for a fluffy duvet.
2. Measure the length of your bed
Measure the length of your bed from the headboard to the foot of the bed. Then calculate:
Bed length + (1.5 × bed height) + 10 cm
This provides enough fabric for the bedspread to reach the floor at the foot of the bed, while leaving extra fabric at the head of the bed to accommodate pillows. The additional 10 cm also allows for a thicker duvet.
Example:
If your bed is 180 × 200 cm and 60 cm high:
Width: 180 + (2 × 60) + 10 = 310 cm
Length: 200 + (1.5 × 60) + 10 = 300 cm
You would therefore need a bedspread measuring approximately 310 × 300 cm.

If your bed is against a wall: If one or more sides of your bed are against a wall, the bedspread does not need to reach the floor on that side. You can adjust the measurements according to how you want the bedspread to drape.
Good to know: Beds come in a variety of heights. As a general guideline, a total bed height of around 50–70 cm is common for adult beds, but always measure your own bed for the best result.
Tip: Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress, including the mattress topper and anything else that would normally sit underneath the bedspread. This is the actual height of the made-up bed and the measurement you should use in the calculation.
