The bed throw in Sakura Collection is inspired by Asian design traditions. Crafted from the same textile base, Sakura features a jacquard-woven pattern and Raw Cotton a solid colour with natural texture. Each bedspread is handmade to your exact measurements in our Swedish atelier, using a single, continuous piece of fabric to fit both single and double beds.

The bedspread is handmade to your exact measurements and finished with a uniform 3cm (1.2 in) hem around all sides. Thanks to Gotain’s extra-wide fabric rolls, it is crafted without seams, resulting in a smooth and uninterrupted surface.
How far the bed throw falls is a matter of personal preference. Many prefer a bed throw that reaches down towards the floor for an elegant and inviting look, while others prefer it to end slightly above the floor for a more relaxed look. The measuring guide below assumes that the bed is freestanding in the room and is intended to provide a bed throw that reaches down towards the floor on all sides.
To achieve the right drape, you need to measure the width, length and height of your bed.
1. Measure the width of your bed
Measure the width of your bed from side to side. Then calculate:
Bed width + (2 × bed height) + 10 cm
The additional measurement allows the bedspread to reach down to the floor on both sides while also allowing room for a fluffy duvet.
2. Measure the length of your bed
Measure the length of your bed from the headboard to the foot of the bed. Then calculate:
Bed length + (1.5 × bed height) + 10 cm
This provides enough fabric for the bedspread to reach the floor at the foot of the bed, while leaving extra fabric at the head of the bed to accommodate pillows. The additional 10 cm also allows for a thicker duvet.
Example:
If your bed is 160 × 200 cm and 50 cm high:
Width: 160 + (2 × 50) + 10 = 270 cm
Length: 200 + (1.5 × 50) + 10 = 285 cm
You would therefore need a bedspread measuring approximately 270 × 285 cm.

If your bed is against a wall: If one or more sides of your bed are against a wall, the bedspread does not need to reach the floor on that side. You can adjust the measurements according to how you want the bedspread to drape.
Please note: Maximum width varies by collection. Woven Linen and Cottage Collection bedspreads can be made up to 310 cm wide, while Bouclé and has a maximum width of 290 cm. The maximum length is 350 cm for all collections.
Good to know: Beds come in a variety of heights. As a general guideline, a total bed height of around 50–70 cm is common for adult beds, but always measure your own bed for the best result.
Tip: Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress, including the mattress topper and anything else that would normally sit underneath the bedspread. This is the actual height of the made-up bed and the measurement you should use in the calculation.

Material
Sakura Collection is a high-quality jacquard-woven fabric, made from a soft blend of viscose, polyester and recycled cotton. The combination of materials gives the fabric a beautiful lustre, a rich texture and an elegant, fluid drape. The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified.
Care
To preserve the colour and quality of your curtains, we recommend vacuuming them regularly. Use a soft brush attachment and gently run it along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise settle into the fibres. Use a steamer to minimise creases that may develop over time.
For dirt or stains, we recommend spot cleaning. Use warm water and a clean white cloth, gently dabbing the affected area. Finish by steaming the fabric and allow it to dry.

All curtain tracks, rods and accessories are shipped within 1-3 working days. Custom length curtain tracks are tailor-made to your exact specifications, which means that we do not accept returns. The same applies to e.g. made-to-order bed throws and pillows with custom-selected piping. Other interior details can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Shipping cost
Within Europe: We offer a flat shipping fee of €15 for all curtain panels, interior details and accessories. For larger parcels such as roman blinds, tracks, and rods, the shipping fee is €49.
Exclusions: Please note that certain destinations carry higher shipping charges due to logistics and handling requirements. For Switzerland, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Malta and Serbia, the shipping fee is €39 for standard parcels and €80 for larger parcels. For Iceland, the shipping fee is €89 for standard parcels and €150 for larger parcels.

International shipping costs reflect the safe handling and delivery of our products from Sweden, especially for larger parcels such as curtain tracks, rods, and roman blinds.
