Erzählen Sie uns ein wenig über sich und Ihr aktuelles Projekt!
Ich bin Interior Designerin und Content Creatorin und begeistere mich schon, solange ich denken kann, für Einrichtung. Angefangen hat alles mit der Renovierung meiner eigenen Wohnungen, deren Entstehung ich in den sozialen Medien geteilt habe. Mit der Zeit fragten immer mehr Menschen, ob ich ihnen bei der Gestaltung ihres Zuhauses helfen könnte – und heute ist meine größte Leidenschaft zu meinem Beruf geworden.
Mein jüngstes und zugleich persönlichstes Projekt ist meine eigene Altbauwohnung. Ich habe sie von Grund auf renoviert und dabei ihren ursprünglichen Charakter bewahrt. Besonders bedeutungsvoll war dieses Projekt, weil ich nicht nur ein Zuhause für mich selbst, sondern auch für meinen Sohn Charlie geschaffen habe. Ich wollte einen warmen und geborgenen Ort schaffen, an dem wir gemeinsam backen, spielen, kreativ sein und Erinnerungen sammeln können.
Ich fühle mich besonders zum skandinavischen Design hingezogen – mit viel Holz, natürlichen Materialien und einer ruhigen Farbpalette. Gleichzeitig möchte ich mich nie auf einen bestimmten Stil festlegen. Für mich beginnt jedes gelungene Zuhause mit der Architektur, dem Charakter des Gebäudes und vor allem mit den Menschen, die darin leben.
Warum sind Textilien und Vorhänge in der Inneneinrichtung so wichtig?
Textilien verleihen einem Raum Weichheit und Wärme. Vorhänge rahmen den Raum ein, beeinflussen das natürliche Licht und schaffen eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Für mich sind sie genauso wichtig wie die Möbel. Sie verbinden alle Elemente miteinander und geben einem Zuhause das Gefühl, vollständig zu sein.
Welches ist Ihr Lieblingsprodukt von Gotain?
Ich liebe die maßgefertigten Vorhänge von Gotain und die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Muster und Strukturen miteinander zu kombinieren. Im Zimmer von Charlie haben wir die Tapete Cottage Sweet Pea mit den Vorhängen Cottage Stripe in sanften taubenblauen Farbtönen kombiniert. Das Ergebnis ist verspielt und zugleich gemütlich, während das verdunkelnde Raffrollo den Raum perfekt auf den Familienalltag abstimmt.
Wie würden Sie Ihren Einrichtungsstil beschreiben?
Ich liebe Häuser und Wohnungen, die zeitlos, warm und bewohnt wirken. Oft arbeite ich mit einer ausgewählten Palette an Materialien, die sich im gesamten Zuhause wiederholen – Holz, warme Farbtöne und natürliche Materialien schaffen ein harmonisches Gesamtbild. Außerdem kombiniere ich gerne moderne Designstücke mit Vintage-Möbeln und Flohmarktfunden. Diese Mischung verleiht einem Zuhause Persönlichkeit und lässt es wirken, als sei es über viele Jahre ganz natürlich gewachsen.
Was inspiriert Sie im Moment?
Unendlich viel Inspiration finde ich in historischen Hotels, Restaurants und Häusern, in denen Materialien wunderschön gealtert sind und jedes Detail seine eigene Geschichte erzählt. Auch der Alltag und das Reisen inspirieren mich – die Art, wie das Licht durch einen Raum fällt, die Farbe einer alten Fassade oder die Patina eines Holzbodens.
Im Moment fühle ich mich besonders zu Einrichtungen hingezogen, die weich, einladend und authentisch wirken. Ich glaube, wir alle sehnen uns heute mehr nach Wärme und Ruhe als nach Perfektion.

PROJECT: MARION RINGBORGS HOUSE
Tell us a bit about how you started working together and how you complement each other -
We met while studying design and today we are both colleagues and best friends, with a collaboration that also has a familial foundation. As artists, our shared interior projects mean a great deal to us—they’re where we meet, exchange ideas, and create together. We complement each other through different tempos and perspectives, and our collaboration is largely intuitive.
How did the renovation of Marion’s home take shape, and what role did the curtains play in the different rooms -
Marion was very clear about her vision early on, which gave us a strong starting point. From there, we created a mood board and developed the overall concept together. The three of us quickly found a shared rhythm and almost immediately started moving in the same direction. Curtains took on a central role in the interior. We love working with Gotain, so the choice felt obvious! Both because of the quality and the ability to work precisely with color, measurements, and proportions.
Tell us about the different color schemes we see in Marion’s home -
None of us, Madelen, myself or Marion is afraid of color, which gave us the freedom to be bold in our choices. At the same time, we’ve been careful and strategic. Each room has its own color palette and character, but a deep red hue runs throughout the house as a unifying thread. It acts like a visual seam that ties everything together and balances the stronger expressions.
We see many different valances in Marion’s home. What do you feel they add to the rooms -
The valances contribute a sense of structure and thoughtfulness without feeling rigid. When an interior is playful or daring, a clear framing can create balance and give the room stability. This is especially valuable in environments with a lot of color. At the same time, the valances add a sense of calm and cozy comfort that makes the rooms more inviting.
What was your inspiration before and during the process -
We built the inspiration together, with a clear focus on the French - something bohemian, generous, and permissive. It was meant to be a home where you can truly live, where things are allowed to be seen and take up space, yet still feel cohesive. Inspiration comes from botanical gardens, French farmhouses, but also from the 1970s and a subtle Miami vibe.
What does 2026 look like for you? Goals, plans & dreams -
At the moment, we are working on a larger joint project, while also pursuing individual exhibitions in different locations. It feels rewarding to continue moving between art and interior design, allowing the two disciplines to inspire and influence each other.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your recent projects
WTP Studios is a full-service design studio from renovations tocompleteinterior design. I predominantly work on residential projects, as well as commercial - I had the honour of helping Gotain design their showroom!
Drawing upon the original or reimagined vernacular of the building, I aim to tell a story within the space - striving to pinpoint what the space should evoke, what it should feel like and how life evolves within it. My designs always feature a heady mix of vintage and antiques in an effort to create a timeless and personalised space. With a heavy focus on neutrals, natural materials and an element of contrast.
I recently completed the interiors for a contemporary art gallery - which was aesthetically completely different from anything I've previously done. Amongst other projects, I'm currently working on the extension of a summerhouse on the West Coast of Sweden as well as an apartment in one of my favourite National Romantic buildings in the city - can't wait to see it all come to life.
Why are textiles and curtains so important in interior design?
They add that final layer - without it no space feels complete.
Your favourite Gotain product?
The woven linen curtains in color Sand is an all time favourite, I’ve used it in almost every single project. It’s beautiful, transitional and always feels effortlessly elegant.
Who should hire you as an interior designer?
Someone with an appreciation of layered neutrals, a predilection for blending the old and new. And someone who enjoys the hunt for that one special item as much as I do!
