Available Curtains in Bouclé
All curtains are sewn by hand in Sweden. Quality is important to us; that is why we include side seams and a bottom hem in the curtains for a heavier look. The bottom hem is sewn with a measurement of 10x10 cm.
- The blackout effect is achieved by sewing the curtains in two layers. The woven linen is paired with a blackout lining, sewn together along the curtains' folded hems.
- The curtain is sewn with two pockets where you can place curtain weights at the bottom (one on each side). The weights help control the curtain's drape for a perfect look.
- The curtain features see-through pleating tape for a soft look with curtain hooks. The pleating tape can be used to hang the curtain on a track or rod. Additionally, there is a passage at the top of the curtain for pulling the rod through.

Material
Gotains bouclé curtain is made of 100% recycled PES for a billowing and soft drape, and is manufactured with a special technique where the yarn is shaped into loops or knots. This gives the fabric its characteristic "bubbly" and texturized surface. The fabric and the black out lining is OEKO-TEX certified. All Gotain fabrics are woven in Spain and Turkey. The bouclé fabric is woven in Spain.
Care
On the blackout bouclé curtain a blackout lining is sewn in the back of the curtain. There is a wide variety of linings when it comes to blackout that in the industry spans from dim-out to black-out. At Gotain we use black-out, which is the lining that stands for the highest degree of blackout. As always when it comes to blackout - keep in mind to mount the curtains high and wide for the best possible effect.
- To maintain color and quality we recommend vacuuming your curtains regularly. Use a soft nozzle and gently let it run along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that otherwise penetrates the textile. Use a steamer to minimize creasing created over time.
- In case of dirt/staining we always recommend spot treatment. Clean with hot water on a white cloth - gently dab the fabric and finish with steaming - let dry.
- When staining/dirt is more substantial, consult a dry cleaner. Always make sure that your local dry cleaner has the correct competence and tools to manage your stain. Gotain does not take responsibility for incorrect handling by a dry cleaner.

HOW TO MEASURE LENGTH
Ceiling-mounted curtain track - Measure from the ceiling to the floor and add +1 cm.
Curtain track on wall - Measure from the top of the curtain track down to the floor and add +1 cm.
CURTAIN ROD ON WALL - Measure from the underside of the ring hanging on the rod and add +1cm.
HOW TO MEASURE WIDTH
Double width curtain - Extended: 180 cm wide, gathered: 70 cm wide.
Single width curtain - Extended: 90 cm wide, gathered: 35 cm wide.
The above recommendation is to achieve Gotain's signature look, which means generous flowing waves of fabric, and a small trail against the floor. The measurements apply to the most common hanging style, on a curtain track with two-finger hooks. Read more in Gotain's measuring guide.
