How to measure: Café Curtains
Café Curtain Classic
The width you specify should correspond to the length the rod needs to be. Measure from the inner edges of the window frame. Based on this measurement, we will calculate how much fabric is needed to create a neat and generous pleating.
When specifying the width, deduct 0.6 cm for the brackets and round down to the nearest whole centimeter. The niche brackets have a depth of about 1 cm, providing a buffer so the curtain will still fit perfectly. The niche bracket itself has a diameter of 2.2 cm.
Tip for determining the height:
Use a natural reference line in the room, such as a window muntin, trim, or another architectural detail. If there is no obvious reference point, consider how much privacy you would like the curtain to provide.
Once you have decided where to mount the rod, measure down to your desired length and subtract 1–2 cm. This allows the curtain to float slightly above the surface below, creating an elegant drape and allowing the weighted hem to help the fabric hang beautifully.

Please note that the curtain hangs 2 cm below the top edge of the rod, so this should be subtracted from the desired curtain length.

Number of hooks needed:
To achieve beautiful pleats, we recommend the following number of hooks depending on the rod length:
Rod 0–45 cm: 10 hooks (1 pack)
Rod 45–90 cm: 20 hooks
Rod 90–135 cm: 30 hooks
Rod 135–180 cm: 40 hooks
Café Curtain Minimalist
The cafe curtain is mounted with a rod and niche brackets, this means that the actual width that you specify should be the measurement that the rod needs to be in. Measure from the inner edges of the window lining. We will then calculate how much fabric there should be to achieve a nice final finish. If you are unsure - round down your measurement a few milimeters, rather then rounding up.

Café curtain Door
The café curtain is installed using one rod at the top and one at the bottom.
The width you enter should correspond to the total length of the rods (including the brackets). Based on this measurement, we calculate the amount of fabric needed to create a beautiful, full pleat.
Start by measuring the width of the section of the window or door you want the curtain to cover. Then add approximately 4 cm on each side for the rods. This creates a neat visual finish and is a commonly recommended guideline.
When placing your order, enter the total rod length, including the brackets.
Please note: The brackets project 5 cm from the wall and have a diameter of 2.2 cm.
