Choose Sheer Linen if you'd like to keep plenty of natural light while adding gentle privacy. If you're looking for greater privacy and a denser fabric, Woven Linen or Bouclé are excellent options.

Keep in mind that privacy always depends on the lighting conditions. Sheer curtains generally provide more privacy during the day than in the evening when lights are on indoors.

That depends on how dark you would like the room to be. Velvet naturally blocks more light than our lighter fabrics, but for complete room darkening we recommend choosing curtains with a blackout lining or our Core Collection.

Absolutely. Pairing Voile or Sheer Linen with a heavier or blackout curtain gives you complete flexibility throughout the day.

The blackout fabric itself blocks light, but some daylight may still enter around the edges of the window or between two curtain panels.

For the best possible blackout effect, we recommend choosing generous curtain widths and ensuring the curtains extend beyond the window on all sides.
