How to measure

How to measure: Café Curtains

Café Curtain Classic:

The width you specify should correspond to the length the rod needs to be. Measure from the inner edges of the window frame. Based on this measurement, we will calculate how much fabric is needed to create a neat and generous pleating.

Please note that two niche brackets together add up to 0.6 cm, which needs to be subtracted from the specified width.

Café Curtain Minimalist:

The cafe curtain is mounted with a rod and niche brackets, this means that the actual width that you specify should be the measurement that the rod needs to be in. Measure from the inner edges of the window lining. We will then calculate how much fabric there should be to achieve a nice final finish. If you are unsure - round down your measurement a few milimeters, rather then rounding up.

Note that with 2 niche brackets, a total of 0.6cm is added, which needs to be deducted from the specified width.

Café curtain Door:

The café curtain is mounted using a rod. The width you provide should correspond to the total length of the curtain rods (including the brackets). Based on this measurement, we then calculate how much fabric is needed to achieve a beautiful and generous pleat.

Café curtain with Rings:

The width you specify should correspond to the length the rod needs to be. Measure from the inner edges of the window frame. Based on this measurement, we will calculate how much fabric is needed to create a neat and generous pleating.

Please note that the curtain hangs 2 cm below the top edge of the rod, so this should be subtracted from the desired curtain length.

Please also note that two niche brackets together add up to 0.6 cm, which needs to be subtracted from the specified width.

Number of hooks needed:
To achieve beautiful pleats, we recommend the following number of hooks depending on the rod length:

Rod 0–45 cm: 10 hooks (1 pack)
Rod 45–90 cm: 20 hooks
Rod 90–135 cm: 30 hooks
Rod 135–180 cm: 40 hooks
