How to measure for a custom length curtain track

The curtain track is typically mounted across the entire width of the room. Measure from wall to wall to determine the length of your track. If the track is to be mounted above a window rather than spanning the entire room, measure the width of your window and add:

35cm: 1 single-width curtain (gathered at the side of the window)
70cm: 2 single-width curtains (gathered at the sides of the window)
70cm: 1 double-width curtain (gathered at the side of the window)
140cm: 2 double-width curtains (gathered at the sides of the window)

These measurements ensure you can fully draw the curtain away from the window.
