Hanna Schönberg has always combined sharp creativity with a strong sense of determination. For Hanna, fashion is more than just trends – it is a way to create something authentic, where each garment tells a story and serves a purpose. From this vision, Arakii was born in 2022, the result of years of dreaming and meticulous planning. The brand became not only an expression of her passion for fashion but also an extension of her ambition to create a holistic concept – a lifestyle that merges aesthetics, sustainability, and timelessness.

This philosophy becomes clear as we step into Arakii's office on Östermalm in Stockholm on a crisp winter day. What greets us is as sharp and sophisticated as the landscape outside, with curtains of off-white linen draping an entire wall, creating a soft contrast to the sleek black furniture. The atmosphere perfectly reflects Arakii’s aesthetic – elegant, minimalist, and thoughtfully curated.

Around the office, samples hang on display—some under revision, some ready for launch, and others that will never see the light of day. We run our fingers over the soft materials, marveling at Hanna’s ability to capture dramatic silhouettes in her designs. Today, she’s wearing a suit consisting of a tailored brown blazer with a large collar that cascades in double layers over her shoulders—a favorite from the new collection, she tells us.

From this office, Arakii works purposefully to redefine wardrobe staples by adding unique details, creating fashion that is both timeless and modern. Hanna herself is deeply involved in every part of the process, from design and material selection to production and storytelling. With enthusiasm, she shares details about the preparations for Arakii’s largest photoshoot to date – a campaign for the upcoming winter collection set to launch in just a few weeks. She describes how the vision of incorporating a horse into the shoot has brought unexpected challenges but perfectly captures the sense of strength and elegance she wants to convey through the brand. “It’s precisely these kinds of details that make everything come alive,” Hanna says with a smile.
