Möt Gotnoir. 

All curtains are sewn by hand in Sweden. The quality is incredibly important to us, which is why we sew side hem and bottom hem with generous inserts for a heavy fall. The hem is sewn in 10x10cm.

The curtain is equipped with two pockets at the bottom for the possibility of placing weights (one on each side). The weights help you control the fall of the curtain and give a final touch to the look.

Transparent folding band for a discreet hanging with curtain hooks. The folding band can also be used to hang the curtain on a rod, then this is used as a canal.

The widths of the fabric rolls can vary between different deliveries. Curtain in single width is at least 130cm. Curtain in double width is at least 275cm.

For the blackout woven linen curtain, a blackout lining is sewn to the back. At Gotain, we use black-out, which is the lining that accounts for the absolute highest degree of blackout.

Our woven linen curtains are of the highest quality, made of 67% linen and 33% viscose for a flexible fall. For the blackout woven linen curtain, a blackout lining is sewn to the back. 

The blackout lining is OEKO-TEX certified.

There is a wide range of feeds when it comes to blackout, which in industry terms ranges from dim-out to black-out. At Gotain, we use black-out, which is the lining that accounts for the absolute highest degree of blackout. As always when it comes to blackout - remember to hang the curtains high and wide for the absolute best look.

To maintain color and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains at regular intervals. Use a soft nozzle and pull loosely along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise attach on the fabric. Use a steamer to minimize creases that are created over time.

To get such an effective blackout, we sew the blackout lining to the seams of the woven linen curtain. As these two textiles are of completely different materials and character, there is a risk of destroying the entire curtain by washing it in its entirety.

In case of dirt/stain, we always recommend spot treatment of the stain. Clean with warm water on a white cloth - dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming - then dry.
